Create MySQL Database in Parallels Plesk Panel 9

Step 1: Logon to your Parallels Plesk Panel 9.0 via the link sends to you in Welcome Email. For example: https://your-domain.com:8443.


Step 2: After login click on the ?Databases? icon under Applications & Services.

Step 3: Under Tools, click on ?Add New Database?.

Step 4: Next, assign a Database name for your database. For example, mydatabase and make sure that the database type you select is MySQL.

Step 5: After you create the database you may need to assign a user to gain access to your database. Click on ?Add New Database User? icon to create a user.

Step 6: Assign a name and password for the database user. For example, ?myadmin?. Finally, click on ?OK? button to complete the process.
